Fundamentals of Test Automation

This two-day course looks at how and when to automate test cases, as well as how test case automation optimally integrates with the various manual testing techniques. In this course we explore, elaborate and enumerate the trade-offs between the various forms of manual and automated testing so that an optimal test plan can be created and executed. For each of the automation techniques, we examine not only how to create that type of an automated test, but when it makes sense to use that techniques and when a different technique would be a better choice.
